Prep Orientation Program

Our Prep Orientation program aims to facilitate a seamless transition to Primary School for your child. To optimise your child's Prep experience, we're providing the option of three sessions for your child to engage with our school community and enjoy activities to promote school readiness skills. Please select one of the two options below, either Wednesdays for three consecutive weeks or Thursdays for three consecutive weeks to allow for consistent small group learning and give your child the opportunity to build solid relationships prior to starting school. Children need to be enrolled to attend our Prep orientation program.

Parent Information Sessions

Our Parent Information sessions offer essential insights into the facilities and programs available at our school. During this event, you'll gain further details about our Prep Transition program, receive a glimpse into learning within the Prep classroom, learn about the Get Set for Prep visit, and discover ways you can support your child in having a successful year in Prep. It's also a chance for you to address any inquiries you might have.

Get Set for Prep Meeting

It is a requirement that all children attend a Get Set for Prep meeting prior to starting school. At this meeting, your child will take part in activities which will cover three developmental domains: motor skills, concepts and language. This is a great way for teachers to get to know your child and plan for their successful transition to Prep. Parents will have an opportunity to share information about their child and ask any questions they may have.
