Year 4, 5 and Year 6 students have the opportunity to audition for our Dance Excellence program. Arundel students will be given the opportunity to further develop their skills and abilities in their chosen area to the highest level possible with the support and guidance of the teachers. All students will be required to commit to the program for the year.
The aim of the Dance program is to focus on technique, creative dance and performance. The program also aims to develop self-confidence, discipline and esteem.
For entry to the program students will be required to perform a short choreographed piece from the teacher. Students should also be ready to answer some questions about their experience in dance and their goals.
We aim to give the students a solid foundation for their entry into High School excellence programs.
