Christmas at Arundel
This Friday evening our community has the opportunity to celebrate the forthcoming Festive Season due to the wonderful efforts of our Performing Arts Department and teachers. If you have not already purchased tickets to this event there are still some available for purchase before school outside the administration block or you might care to purchase them on the evening.
So why do we put such emphasis on celebrating Christmas with our community? By bringing people together, the values of caring and tolerance are promoted encouraging inter-class, inter-religious and inter-racial social interaction.
Such activities strengthen a community’s identity and create a spirit of peace and good-will that lingers long after the celebrations have ended.
I am very much looking forward to Friday evening and the joy it will bring to our children, parents, extended families and all community members.
